Hawk and Heath

Hawk and Heath is a nature-based wellbeing and education organisation helping people reconnect with the natural world.

Its activities include guided forest bathing, family and children’s nature experiences, community sessions, corporate retreats and away days, and professional CPD relating to nature-based practice.

Based at Broughton Sanctuary near Skipton, Hawk and Heath also travels to other green spaces and works with communities, organisations, families and professionals across Yorkshire.

Hawk and Heath offers a mixture of funded/free community activity and paid experiences. Current examples include free community forest bathing, £15 nature sessions, professional CPD from £250 + VAT and bespoke corporate retreats from £600 + VAT. Hawk and Heath activities take place in outdoor and nature-based settings, so accessibility will vary by activity and location. Please contact the team before booking to discuss mobility, sensory or other access requirements.

Director Robert has a degree in Geography, is a qualified teacher, has completed training with The Forest Bathing Institute, and is a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher and forest bathing guide. Director Ally has a first-class degree in Countryside Management, an MEd in Inclusive Practice and is a qualified teacher, with experience in horticultural and conservation therapy and outdoor education.
