Claire Ackers
Claire Ackers is the co-founder of WildEdge Worx, a leadership consultancy that works with founders and senior leaders at the point where the business starts to outgrow the person leading it. Her work is built on a simple premise: when clarity drops and pressure rises, it is rarely a strategy problem. It is a capacity, identity and environment problem. Claire brings over 20 years of coaching and consulting experience into her work, blending deep strategic thinking with nature-based environments that change how leaders think, feel and make decisions. Through mountains, movement and cold water, she creates the conditions for leaders to step out of the noise and back into clear, grounded leadership. Alongside her leadership work, Claire is a qualified Open Water Lifeguard, Outdoor First Aider and experienced wild swimmer. She integrates the neuroscience and lived experience of cold water immersion into her sessions, helping people understand not just why it works, but how to use it as a practical tool for clarity, resilience and emotional regulation. She is also the creator of The Rewilding, a series of immersive retreats designed for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves, rebuild trust in their own voice, and return to their lives and businesses with a renewed sense of clarity and direction. Claire lives in Leeds with her husband and three children, and is most often found in the hills, in the water, or somewhere in between.
