Seat, Stretch, Strengthen: Pilates at Department 1pm

Pilates you can practice anywhere

Ease your body into movement with a gentle yet effective 45-minute Pilates session designed specifically for seated spaces, led by Pilates Coach, Hector McFayden.

Perfect for the cinema, your desk, or any setting where space is limited, this session focuses on controlled movements, posture, and core activation, all from the comfort of your seat. No need for mats or large movements, just mindful, intentional exercise that works with your environment.

Pilates is renowned for improving posture, flexibility, and core strength while reducing tension built up from long periods of sitting. Through small, precise movements and breathwork, you’ll activate key muscle groups, support spinal health, and leave feeling refreshed not fatigued.

This session is designed to guide you through simple, effective exercises you can revisit anytime whether you’re at work, travelling, or relaxing before a film.
Scaled for all levels and abilities, the goal is to help you feel better in your body, wherever you are.
