Leeds’ Big Wellbeing Walk! – 9:45 – 11:50

HelloHope’s founder and CEO, Ellie has been running successful Netwalk’s for more than 3 years and this time we’re bringing a special Leeds Big Wellbeing Walk during Leeds Wellbeing Week.

We’ll meet at 10am for a 40 minute (approx) walk around the park’s 2 stunning lakes before heading to Roundhay Park’s onsite cafe to enjoy a cuppa and whatever treat you fancy!

We’ll also be joined by The Presence Effect Choir leader Fran Wyburn for simple, easy-to-learn songs inspired by nature.

You don’t need any singing experience—just a willingness to join in. We’ll explore gentle, uplifting songs about things like birdsong, trees, light, and the natural world around us.

Fran creates a relaxed, non-judgemental space where there is no pressure to sing perfectly—or even loudly. You’re welcome to take part in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Alongside singing, there will be moments of poetry, quiet reflection, and pause to help you slow down and connect more fully with yourself and your surroundings.

Meeting at 9.45am outside the front of the Mansion (there is carpark and on-street parking which are now pay to play – we recommend downloading and setting up your car in the PayByPhone app in advance)

Once everyone has arrived we’ll venture on a walk around both Roundhay lakes, hopefully spot some cygnets and do a circular towards the Lakeside cafe.

Tickets are £5 which supports our work delivering Leeds Wellbeing Week and HelloHope’s continued work in mental health and suicide prevention.

Tickets are non-refundable. The £5 ticket price covers the guided walk only and does not include refreshments or purchases from the café.

Donations are very welcome to help support the organisation of Leeds Wellbeing Week and HelloHope’s important work in mental health and suicide prevention.
